Australian Post Study work Visa guideline :

Australian Post -study work have been introduced by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) of 23 March 2013.

Students who graduate with an Australian Bachelors, Masters or a Doctoral degree and meet the other eligibility criteria will have access to the new Post-Study Work Visa.

Students who complete a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree a BA in Australia, and all other eligibility criteria will have access to work visas under the post study work scheme.

The duration of the visa post-study work, which are able to apply the measure, which can be obtained as follows:

• BS and MS degrees in science subjects can apply for a work visa for one or two years of further study

• Master by Research graduates will be eligible to apply for eligibility to apply for a work visa for subsequent three-year study

 • Doctoral students can apply for a a four year post-study work visa

Post-study work modes is an additional current in the graduated, this is called temporary visa (subclass 485). The graduate qualified temporary visa (subclass 485) was renamed temporary graduate (subclass 485) visa. You can apply the post study, work visa in Australia, provided it complies with the special conditions for graduate temporary visa, or the graduate work stream provided you meet the specific eligibility requirements.

Eligibility To be eligible to apply for the post-study work visa, you must:

 • Successfully complete an Australian Bachelors, Masters or Doctoral degree

• Have lodged your first student visa application after 5 November 2011

•Meet the Australian study requirement in the six months immediately before making your post-study work visa application

 •Be in Australia

•Be under 50 years of age

 • Meet the English language requirement

Other requirements that will need to be met include health, character and security requirements. Graduates who do not meet the requirement for the post-study work stream may be eligible to apply for an 18 month visa through the graduate work stream. The Australian study requirement Demand for Australian study Whether the derivation applies to post study, work visa or graduate work stream, you must meet the Australian study requirement prior to the application for visa subclass 485 within six months.

The implementation of the Australian study is defined as the study in Australia at a recognized course over a period of at least two academic years.

The course must be completed in English and must be completed in no less than 16 calendar months.

 To meet the requirement of the Australian study, you must:

 • Attended a single qualification, at least two years of study, resulting in multiple skills of a total duration of at least two academic years study

 • Carry out this study in no less than 16 calendar months.
