The 4th quarter Express Entry Minimum points dropped to under 500 in 2016.

Entry Express is the new selection system for immigration to Canada, in order to select qualified workers for immigration, to Canada. This includes federal skilled worker program, skill trade program and certain parts of Canada Provincial Program in Canada.

Potential candidates express their interest in the online portal. This is a secure way that used to provide information about their, skills, work experience, language skills, education and other details that will be able to evaluate them. Those who meet the criteria for federal immigration programs outlined above will be accepted into a pool of applicants.

August 10, 2016 - The Canadian immigration authorities held the 7th round of the 40th federal Express-entry in 2016 and in total of 754 applicants for permanent residence were invited. There was a small raise from the previous draw and the lowest score was 490. It was the random selection in the express entry in 2016 where its lowest point was the CRS score under 500.
